Description

Replacement battery cover and coin reservoir plug for the vintage Radio Shack Robie coin bank. Designed to fit the original retaining tabs and restore the missing bottom panel while keeping both the battery compartment and coin reservoir securely closed.

I printed mine in TPU for AMS, which is relatively stiff, but other flexible materials should also work. The file includes a few small supports. They are likely unnecessary, but I left them in for reliability.

Installation: Slide one side under the retaining overhang first. Flex the cover slightly so the opposite side can slide underneath the overhang on the other side. Once both sides are seated, press on the front lip to line up the plug and push it securely into the coin reservoir opening.

A flexible filament is recommended because the part needs to bend during installation.
