This is a printable pluck-foam-style organizer insert designed for hard cases, tool cases, electronics storage, camera gear, hard drives, cables, adapters, and other small gear.

Instead of cutting or tearing foam once and being stuck with that layout forever, this system uses a field of small square blocks that can be removed, rearranged, or replaced. The current version includes a real full-size flat back plate, a real thick outer frame, and a self-interlocking square block field.

The goal is to give the same visual feel as pluck foam, but in a more reusable, modular, 3D-printable form.

Notes

This is not soft foam. It is a rigid 3D-printable system inspired by pluck foam. The square block grid gives a similar customizable layout style, while making the insert reusable and replaceable.

The full assembly STL is included for preview and convenience, but the separate back plate, outer frame, and block field files are also included for easier printing and testing.
