Description
After trying several printable designs, I found that many weren't durable enough for repeated use, and the sharp edges around the wire guides created unnecessary friction when pulling longer cables.
So I designed my own.

How to use
- Mount the tool securely to a workbench or piece of wood.
- Select the wire guide that best matches the cable's outside diameter.
- Insert the cable.
- Place a utility knife in the slot above the selected guide.
- Apply gentle downward pressure and pull the cable through.
The large chamfers help guide the cable smoothly into the correct hole while reducing resistance during longer pulls.
Why this design?
Unlike many existing printable wire strippers, this design focuses on simplicity and reliability.
The print orientation allows the cable to slide with the layer lines instead of across them, helping reduce friction. Combined with the large chamfers and reinforced body, it creates a smoother and more durable tool for repeated use.
Future versions
I'm already working on a future version featuring a fixed, replaceable blade system, allowing both hands to stay on the cable while stripping longer lengths.
