Description
This enclosure is designed for the FTDI USB-COM422-PLUS2 adapter. Matching versions for the USB-COM232 and USB-COM485 models are also available.
The enclosure is assembled using M3 heat-set threaded inserts with dimensions of 4.5 mm (outer diameter) × 6 mm (length). Install the inserts using a soldering iron, then secure the enclosure with M3 screws. The design provides a clean fit while allowing easy access to all connectors and indicators.
