Description

 

A satisfying, fully Print-in-Place kinetic fidget gear. Engineered with exact 0.4mm clearances to ensure the captive rings spin freely straight off the build plate.

Zero supports. Zero assembly. Zero glue.

Included Print Profiles:

  1. Multicolor (AMS Ready): Optimized for high contrast. Assign your colors in the slicer. (Approx. print time will vary based on flush settings).
  2. Single Color (Fast Print): The quickest way to test the model or mass-produce it on a single-spool setup.

Critical Printing Instructions:

  • Wait to Cool: Do NOT pull this off the bed while the plastic is still hot, or you will warp the rings and fuse the mechanism. Let the build plate cool completely.
  • Breaking it in: Once removed, grip the outer gear and inner core, and give it a firm, sharp twist to snap the micro-bonds. It will spin perfectly after the first rotation.
  • Do not use a Brim. It will fuse the bottom channels.
