Twistable Sensory Fidget Rod - Snap Together

This sensory fidget is similar to the sensory fidget rods, but it has a fun twist to it :) Each section spins on a different axis, giving the toy movement in three different directions and making it pretty fun to fidget with.

The rod consists of 4 pieces, all printed flat on the build plate. Assembly is simple….just snap the small connector pieces into each side. The fit should be snug while still allowing everything to rotate freely.

Three designs are included:

Spike
The most abrasive option, similar to many of the spiky sensory fidgets on MakerWorld.

Rough
A rough exterior with a great tactile feel. The texture is created using the Fuzzy Skin feature in Bambu Studio. If you'd like more or less texture, simply adjust the Fuzzy Skin settings.

Twist
The smoothest and least abrasive design. It has a fun feel in your hand and a cool appearance when spinning.

Tips

• Print the connector pieces horizontally (as shown in the print profile). This orientation allows them to flex more easily during assembly and helps prevent breakage.
• Consider printing the connector pieces in PETG. PLA works too, but PETG's extra flexibility and durability make for a more secure connection.
• Check out the pictures in the listing for assembly instructions and a quick demonstration of how it moves.

NOTE: Please reach out with any issues you have with the model! Though the tolerances for this model work well with my printer, the pieces may not snap together easily for yours. Feel free to message me and I can upload connector pieces with tighter/looser tolerances….Happy printing!
