Description

UPDATE: I made a version that supports an aluminum rod! This version uses a ½" aluminum rod that is 56" long. I recommend taking a 6ft aluminum rod and cutting it down. The parts are all assembled the same way as the original with the same guide, but I recommend using epoxy instead of glue.

I wanted the aluminum rod to go all the way into the spearhead, but a ½" rod is too thick to fit, and any rod thinner than ½" is not rigid enough. If anyone has a good idea for reinforcing the spearhead, let me know!

Just created a Makerworld account! (Idk why I didn't do it earlier) This is just the same model that I originally posted on Printables.

NOTE: The model is around 76 in (1.93 meters) long, but the real in-game spear is around 85 in (2.2 meters). I scaled it that way because I wanted a spear that would fit me, and I'm just not as tall as Kratos.

Every single part of this spear, except the spearhead, is threaded, so you don't need an aluminum rod. For the spearhead, I just used PVA glue, and it worked pretty well, but you can use 3D gloop if you want a stronger bond. I'm still working on painting my spear.

All of the parts need support, and I'd recommend a brim as well, just to be safe.

I might consider making a version of this spear with an aluminum rod on the inside if anyone wants a stronger spear, so let me know in the comments if you would like that :)

When printing, each piece is labeled with a number. Follow the image guide above for how to assemble it.

Infill: 15%
Material: PLA
Supports: All parts need support
Brim: Not technically required, but highly recommended (especially for the spearhead)
