Bill of Materials
Description
Roly-Poly Lampshade for Bambu Lab RGB Light Puck KC007 is a compact 3D printable ambient lamp inspired by the curled, segmented shell of a roly-poly/pill bug.
The oval ribbed shape creates a soft organic glow and works especially well as a desk lamp, gaming setup light, shelf light, mood light, or cozy RGB accent lamp. The layered shell helps diffuse the light while giving the lamp a sculptural look that fits both a clean interior setup and a more playful nerdy desk corner.
The model is designed for two Bambu Lab RGB Light Pucks, mounted inside the lampshade using double-sided tape. No screws and no complicated assembly are needed.

Important Print & Handling Note
This model is designed with thin ribbed segments to create the final flexible lampshade shape. Because of this, the print should be handled with care, especially when removing it from the build plate and when shaping the segments. A clean build plate and a well-calibrated printer are very important for a successful result. Good bed adhesion, a clean first layer, and stable extrusion will help the thin parts print correctly and reduce the risk of loose or failed segments.
Assembly Instructions
No tools, screws, or extra printed parts are required.
1. Print the lampshade
Print the model as provided. The lampshade prints in one single piece without supports.
After printing, carefully remove the model from the build plate and make sure the ribbed segments are free to move.
2. Mount the RGB light pucks
Use two Bambu Lab RGB Light Pucks KC007.
Apply double-sided tape to the back of each puck and mount them inside the lampshade in the intended positions.
3. Shape the lampshade
After the RGB pucks are mounted, gently rotate and fan out the ribbed segments until the shade reaches its final oval roly-poly shape.
Work slowly and adjust the segments by hand until the form looks even and balanced. Avoid forcing the parts.
