Description

🍎 An apple – fruit fly trap

I wanted a pest trap that actually works but doesn’t look like an eyesore.

This model is designed to look like an apple, which allows it to blend in with a real fruit bowl in your kitchen, sit subtly on a living room shelf, or protect fruits, plants and flowers on the balcony.

No supports, can be printed on the single plate and per object instead of per layer (at least on X2D, ain't sure about A-series printers e.g.)

How to use:
Fill the lower cup with wine or apple vinegar/splash of beer or juice, or anything that attracts those flying pests in your case.

Hole size is 10mm in the tightest place so it fits fruit flies, flies and wasps. Nothing else comes to my mind but if it's in this size range – it should fit.

If you didn't use liquid bait or just not sure pests inside are done swimming, simply fill it with water (preferably with drop or two of liquid soap) “for a while” or do whatever would you do with a container full of flying pests 🤷 🔥 💣 🔫 🚗
