Swan Sculpture - Negative Space Decor

A graceful negative space swan sculpture with a flowing silhouette, open center, and sweeping curved lines that make the whole piece feel light, elegant, and sculptural.

This model is all about shape. The swan is clearly readable from the first glance, but the open negative space through the body gives it a much more artistic look than a standard bird statue. The long neck, curved wing form, and smooth rising base create one continuous motion, almost like the swan is carved out of a single wave.

It makes a strong display piece for a shelf, desk, sideboard, cabinet, office, or clean home decor setup. The design feels calm and elegant, but still has enough visual drama to stand out in photos and at thumbnail size. The negative space is the main feature here: it gives the model depth, makes the silhouette more interesting, and turns the swan into more of a modern decorative sculpture than a simple figurine.

Printed in Silk PLA+, the curved surfaces catch the light beautifully. The shine really suits the shape, especially along the neck, wing, and inner cutout, where the highlights move across the model from different angles.

This model is intentionally positioned at an angle on the print bed. After 11 failed prints, this was the setup that finally gave me a clean, repeatable result with the fine sections printing properly. Im sure there are better ways and Im always eager to see other solutions; this is just what worked for me!
