Print Settings & Assembly:
This model is optimized for easy printing and requires no specialized settings. Support structures may be needed if you print with the logo facing up. If you print the with the logo facing the print bed, then no supports are needed. Printing with the logo down is faster, the logo looks crisp but their may be some very minor issues with a few edges of the logo. If you print with the logo facing up, supports are needed and you may have some very minor issues with the stem (where the “+” of the switch gets inserted) which may require a very minor amount of sanding to smooth out the rough edges so the switch moves smoothly.
- Material: Prints perfectly in PLA, PLA Silk, PETG etc
- Assembly: Simply insert your desired standard MX-style mechanical keyboard switch into the base until it's secure. The icon should sit precisely on the stem. The fit is tight so you may need to press firmly. Also if you find it sticking a bit when you press it down, you might need to check threre are no issues with the stem as it is fairly precise fit. On a couple of my prints I needed to sand the stem (where the “+” end of switch gets inserted) a tiny bit to make it fit perfectly.
