Description

A set of two hexagonal dumpling molds for forming 19 or 37 homemade dumplings at a time. Choose the compact mold for a smaller portion or the large version for preparing a family-sized batch.

Overview

This set includes two retro-style dumpling molds designed for forming multiple similarly shaped dumplings in one batch.

The large version contains 37 hexagonal cells, while the compact version contains 19 cells. This makes it possible to choose a mold based on the desired portion size, available workspace, and printer build volume.

The molds are intended to be used with two thin sheets of rolled dough. The first sheet is placed over the mold, small portions of prepared filling are positioned above the cells, and the second sheet is placed on top. Rolling across the surface presses the dough against the forming edges, helping shape, seal, and separate the individual dumplings.

How to use

1. Roll out two thin dough sheets of approximately the same size.
2. Lightly dust the mold and dough with flour.
3. Place the first dough sheet over the mold.
4. Carefully form shallow pockets above the cells.
5. Add a small amount of prepared filling to each pocket.
6. Cover the mold with the second dough sheet.
7. Roll across the surface while gradually increasing pressure.
8. Remove the excess dough.
9. Carefully release the formed dumplings from the mold.

Printer compatibility

The 37-cell mold measures 315 × 272.798 mm and requires a large-format build plate.

The 19-cell mold measures 250 × 216.506 mm and uses almost the full length of a standard 256 mm build plate. Check the model placement, exclusion zones, and any brim settings in your slicer before printing.

Food-contact warning

This model is shared as a 3D-printable design, but a standard 3D-printed part should not automatically be considered suitable for direct food contact.

Before using the mold with dough or filling, make sure that the complete manufacturing process — including the material, pigments, printer, nozzle, print settings, post-processing method, and finished surface — has been independently verified as suitable for the intended food-contact application.

The finished surfaces must be smooth, undamaged, and capable of being cleaned properly. Inspect the print for strings, burrs, gaps, cracks, loose particles, or areas that cannot be thoroughly cleaned.

If the complete printed product has not been verified for direct food contact, do not use it with food.

Clean and inspect the mold before and after every use.
