Heroes and Heroines: 3D Token Hero Compendium Vol. 7 is the seventh release in my growing 3D Token Hero Compendium, a collection of bas-relief character tokens designed as a practical alternative to full miniatures. The goal of this series is to provide a clean, consistent, and durable token system that works across campaigns, tables, and play styles.

Each character is sculpted as a round bas-relief medallion, with the hero emerging from the surface to create depth and strong visual definition without fragile or delicate parts. These tokens are intentionally chunky, FDM-friendly, and sized for easy handling during play.

This volume provides a complete collection of classic fantasy adventurers suitable for nearly any tabletop RPG. Whether you're beginning a new campaign, replacing traditional miniatures with durable tokens, or building a portable encounter kit, these heroes represent many of the most iconic fantasy character classes.

Design Notes

• Circular medallion-style tokens with a raised rim
• Shallow to medium bas-relief for strong detail and clean prints
• Optimized geometry for FDM printers
• Durable shapes with no fragile or easily broken parts
• Designed for quick recognition and readability on the tabletop

Printing Notes

• Requires very few supports, limited to small contact areas only
• Prints cleanly on most FDM printers
• Scales easily for different map sizes or game systems
• Standard layer heights work well, while finer layers enhance texture even further

Support Removal & Cleanup Tips

Some supports are intentionally placed to ensure clean detail and reliable printing. These are minimal but slightly tighter in a few areas by design.

• Remove supports slowly using flush cutters or fine snips rather than twisting.
• A sharp hobby knife works well for trimming small contact points.
• Light sanding, a sanding sponge, or a needle file will clean up surfaces before priming.
• Spending a little extra time during cleanup results in a stronger, cleaner final token.

Painting

These tokens are designed to paint quickly while still producing striking tabletop results. A simple prime, wash, and drybrush immediately highlights the sculpted depth, while more advanced painters can easily add layered highlights and personalized color schemes for each class. They also look great unpainted for quick game preparation.
