A simple, satisfying print-in-place articulated fidget designed with smooth movement and durability in mind.
The Tangled Snake features linked segments that flex and twist in every direction, making it fun to handle while requiring no assembly after printing.
The model is available in two sizes:
- 12-Segment Version – Compact, pocket-friendly, and quick to print.
- 20-Segment Version – Longer, more flexible, and provides a different fidgeting experience.
The design prints as a single piece with fully articulated joints, so once the print is complete, it's ready to use straight off the build plate.

About the profiles:
- there are 3 profiles.
- a1 mini friendly also.
- 0,28 layer height with concentric top pattern and slow first layer.
- the model is empty inside so no infill is applied.

single color 20 segments
multicolor 20 segments
- print the 12 segments at first that is around half an hour and some grams to test if your printer can do it.
multicolor takes only 2 hours and it is far more satisfying!
If the joints feel slightly stiff after printing, gently flex each segment a few times to fully free the movement.
