🔪 Mini Box Cutter / Utility Knife

A compact, lightweight mini utility knife designed for everyday carry, hobby work, opening packages, and precision cutting. Its small size makes it perfect for your keychain, pocket, backpack, or toolbox while still using standard utility knife blades.

The knife features a simple retractable blade mechanism operated with a thumb slider. An internal rubber band automatically retracts the blade when the slider is released, providing an extra layer of safety.

🧰 Hardware Required

🔹 1 × Standard utility knife blade
🔹 2 × Small screws
🔹 1 × Small rubber band (for auto-retraction)

🔧 Assembly

1️⃣ Place the rubber band into the rear groove of the body.
2️⃣ Install the thumb slider and hook it onto the rubber band.
3️⃣ Position the utility blade onto the locating posts.
4️⃣ Install the blade retaining plate.
5️⃣ Insert and tighten the two screws (do not overtighten).
6️⃣ Test the slider to ensure the blade retracts smoothly.
