Shenyang 6th Gen J-50 Catapult Launchable, Adjustable Wingtips

Please be sure to read these instructions before printing

*It is recommended to use PLA Basic. Some PETG has a high risk of breaking when printing such ultra-thin models

*Due to a lot of feedback on the previous J36 model indicating that the first layer had gaps and was prone to tearing, for safety, the first layer flow rate of this model has been set

to 1.1. If there is slight first layer over-extrusion, it is normal and does not affect flight

Installation instructions:

1. Wait for the PEI plate to cool completely before scraping, otherwise you'll end up with a warped print. Use a scraper to lift a bit

   Using a dedicated thin scraper is safer and more efficient (available on my homepage

2. Vertical stabilizer component installation: Align its position and press flat with your finger or a flat hard object

3. Fold the nose upward along the dotted line (red position in the image) to the position shown in the image

4. Fold the strakes downward to the limit position

    This part is relatively difficult to fold. You can use the groove of the ejection rod for assistance

5. Pick up the plane and fold the vertical stabilizer 90°. The vertical stabilizer greatly improves flight performance

6. Facing the nose, adjust the wing and control surface angles

Plane assembly complete

The catapult requires a rubber band. Be sure to remove the small support at the bottom of the catapult and hook in the rubber band

Remove the base, insert into the base

Wrap the rubber band a few times along the groove and hook it back

Note the small crossbeam at the bottom of the plane. The front edge of the bracket should snap into the plane's groove, flush with the reference position
