Hamax Traveller – Spare part 603280 (Brake Pin)
Since the original spare part is not always easy to obtain, I have reverse-engineered this model.
Two variants are available:
- Variant 1: Complete brake pin including printed pin (without metal parts).
- Variant 2: Only the plastic base for use with a stainless steel pin and a stainless steel spring.

Printing Recommendation
I recommend printing exclusively with technically suitable materials such as:
- PETG (CF)
- PA (Nylon)
- PA-CF
I would advise against PLA due to its lower temperature resistance and material properties.
Recommended print settings:
- 100 % Infill
- no supports
- Print in the specified orientation
The model was deliberately designed to be printed with 100% infill without internal cavities – similar to the solid construction of the original part. Please read the instructions! The pin must be pressed in to ensure a secure fit. If you don't have a vice at home, you can try it with a sufficiently large pair of pliers (or with physical effort ;-) ).

⚠️ This component is part of a bicycle trailer's braking mechanism and is therefore safety-relevant.
I have carried out no strength, durability, or safety tests. The model was created to the best of my knowledge, but its suitability for the intended purpose has not been verified.
Reconstruction, printing, material selection, assembly, and use are done exclusively at your own risk.
Before each use of the bicycle trailer, the brake function should be carefully checked. The component should be regularly inspected for damage, wear, or deformation and replaced immediately if any abnormalities are found.
