1:12 Scale Record Player with Print in Place Hinge

A detailed 1:12 scale vintage suitcase-style record player featuring a functional print-in-place hinge and fully modular components designed for multi-colour printing.

Bring some tunes to your dollhouse with this 1:12 scale portable suitcase-style record player! Inspired by classic mid-century portable turntables, this miniature model features a print-in-place hinge case, an interior insert, a separate turntable platter, arm, and two record sizes for styling variation.

The model has been carefully organised into separate print plates so each part can be printed in different colours without requiring an AMS system.

I have tested this model on my A1 Mini with both regular and matte PLA.

Included Parts:

• Case with print-in-place hinge

The included 3MF file contains multiple organised plates:

• Plates 1–5: Individual parts separated for easy multi-colour printing
• Plate 6: All parts arranged together for single-colour printing

Printing Notes:

• Designed for FDM printing
• No supports required
• Optimised for 0.4 mm nozzle
• 0.08 mm layer height recommended
• Print-in-place hinge included in the case
• Do not scale (tolerances are tuned for 1:12 scale)

After printing, allow parts to cool and gently work the hinge to free movement.

Assembly:

• Print all selected parts
• Insert interior piece into the case
• Place the turntable into the central opening
• Attach the tonearm (this is a very small part and may require a tiny bit of sanding. Do not force it into the hole as it can easily break. I have included 2 arms on the plate in case one prints better than the other.)
• Add either record to complete the scene
