Welding jig with ceramic heat insulation chuck and 33mm maximum opening
Print Profile(3)

Description
Large opening welding clamp, with ceramic heat-insulating collets in the clamping area. The spring and slider are limited by guide pins, ensuring stable slider travel and preventing the spring from dislodging. It can achieve a maximum opening of 33mm
High-temperature resistant sponge can be placed in the central recess

It can be printed in a single plate using PETG. The slider head will be slightly larger due to the printing path, which may cause jamming at the extreme position when assembled with the main body, requiring some sanding with sandpaper
If you print with PA6-CF like I did, the steps required will be more complex due to the material's properties, but the effect after assembly is very good
PA6-CF printing suggestions: Print the main body, slider, and guide pin separately. Since the guide pin is relatively slender (5mm diameter, 70mm height), it should be printed independently (twice), with deceleration enabled based on height to prevent head wrap and printing failure if the print head moves too fast when reaching the top. It is recommended to set random seams and sand off any burrs at the seams with sandpaper. The guide pin hole inside the slider needs to be deburred at the top with a 5.2mm drill bit to ensure smooth, non-sticking operation of the guide pin. The slider head may slightly expand due to the printing path, causing sliding to stick; use sandpaper to flatten all four sides of the head
Using 400-grit sandpaper yields better sanding results

Regarding purchased accessories:
1. Use a stainless steel spring with an outer diameter of 7mm, wire diameter of 0.8mm, and total length of 60mm. The link where I purchased it is below, for referencehttps://e.tb.cn/h.RwKmIQOaCDOZ79O?tk=Tbt5gOEKAus
2. Ceramic heat insulation block link: https://e.tb.cn/h.RDpeKx6DEFj7Ro3?tk=LPIvgOEtG4q
3. Use M2.6*6 thin head cylindrical hex flat tail self-tapping screws, reference link:https://e.tb.cn/h.RDp8aVsUm3omVKX?tk=WPo4gOwaKeW
20260705 Update V1.1: Added a 3D printed clamp block, not insulated, which can be printed in batches as consumables, temporarily replacing ceramic heat insulation blocks

20260706 Update V1.2: Added a lightweight version of the main body with many cutouts to save filament
