# Custom Heavy-Duty Case for ATORCH BW600 Electronic Load (Up to 600W)

This is a fully custom, high-performance modular enclosure designed specifically for the ATORCH BW600 series electronic load. It is engineered to upgrade the cooling system to the absolute maximum, allowing stable operation at peak power without thermal throttling.

🧩 Bill of Materials (BOM) & Hardware Requirements

Ultimate Cooling System:
* 4× CPU Coolers: Thermalright AXP90-X53 (used for superior heat dissipation directly from the power stages).
* 3× Chassis Fans: Thermalright TL-C12C-X28 (120mm fans with an increased 28mm thickness for enhanced static pressure and high airflow).

Electrical & Thermal Insulation:
* 4× Alumina Ceramic Plates (40×40×0.5mm): High thermal-conductivity substrates. Crucial to isolate and eliminate positive electrical potential from the heatsinks.

Fasteners & Spacers:
* Brass Standoffs: M3 × 15mm.
* Note: M3 brass washers were used to compensate for overlapping PCB pairs in tight spots. Feel free to adjust standoff heights based on your hardware batch.

Magnetic Assembly:
* 7mm Magnets: Required for the quick-swap modular front plates.

Power & Interface:
* DC Input Jack: A dedicated mounting hole is located at the bottom-right of the rear panel. It perfectly fits the stock power connector soldered onto the original Atorch board.
* Controls: All potentiometers, switches, and buttons match standard components widely available on AliExpress.

🛠️ Required Hardware Modifications (Fine-Tuning)

To achieve a perfect flush fit inside this custom enclosure, minor modifications to the cooling hardware are necessary:
* Backplate Shaving: The outer corners of the Thermalright AXP90-X53 backplates must be slightly ground or filed down to avoid hitting the inner walls of the case.
* Mounting Studs: Shorten the threaded mounting studs of the two rear cooler models by 1–2mm so they sit completely flat.

📦 STL Printing & Customization Options

The project includes separate modules for ease of printing and material selection:
* Magnetic_Nameplate.stl — Pre-branded plate with the project identity.
* Magnetic_Nameplate_Blank.stl — Completely clean plate. Provided so other makers can easily emboss their own logos, text, or custom patterns to fit their workbench aesthetics.
* Dedicated Fan Grills: Optimized high-airflow meshes tailored for the top, rear, and side fan positions (Fan_Grill_Top.stl, Fan_Grill_Rear.stl, Fan_Grill_Sides.stl).
