Description
This is a replacement rear drawer slide support bracket for older cabinet drawers that use side-mounted steel drawer slides. I modeled this after a broken cabinet drawer slide support at home so the drawer could be repaired without buying a full replacement hardware kit.
The bracket mounts to the rear of the cabinet and supports the back end of the drawer slide, helping keep the slide aligned and preventing the drawer from sagging or binding. The socket depth allows some front-to-back adjustment of the rail during installation.
This model is intended for drawer slides with an approximately 3/8 inch wide x 1 inch tall track profile. Overall reference dimensions are approximately:
Socket length/depth: 3-11/16 in.
Socket opening width: 1-1/4 in.
Track channel: 3/8 in. wide x 1 in. tall
Style: rear-mount, side-rail drawer track socket
