Anti-gravity double cone, optical illusion
Print Profile(1)

Description
Surprise your friends and decorate your desk with this classic and fascinating mechanical paradox. At first glance, the double cone seems to defy the laws of gravity by rolling upwards along the ramp. In reality, it's all about geometry: as the cone moves, its center of gravity constantly lowers!
This version has been optimized from scratch to print flawlessly, quickly, and stress-free.
🚀 Design Features
- 100% Support-Free Printing: Both the ramp and the two halves of the cone are designed to be printed flat on the build plate, eliminating filament waste and post-processing time.
- Perfect 2-Piece Fit: The double cone is split in half and assembles easily after printing thanks to an internal cylindrical pin, ensuring perfect symmetry and smooth rolling (use a little glue for flawless operation).
- "Anti-Derailment" Feature: The ramp, inclined with a 5° elevation difference, features two dedicated stop holes at the upper end that block the cone, preventing it from falling or going off track.
- Easy and Fast: A project accessible to any 3D printer, optimized to minimize print times.
