Tent Peg – 3D printable | robust | PETG tested
Print Profile(1)

Description
Robust 3D Printed Tent Peg
This tent peg was developed from scratch for 3D printing. The goal was a stable, durable, and easy-to-print peg that is perfectly suited for camping, gardening, or other outdoor activities.
The peg was successfully printed with Bambu Lab PETG and has already been tested in practice. Its long, conical tip allows it to be easily driven into the ground (with a rubber mallet), while the reinforced head provides a secure hold for tent ropes and guy lines.
Features
- ✔️ Specially designed for FDM 3D printing
- ✔️ Successfully tested with PETG
- ✔️ Long, tapered shape for easy penetration into the ground
- ✔️ Reinforced head for high stability
- ✔️ Reusable and lightweight
- ✔️ Printing possible without support structures
Print Recommendation
- Material: PETG (recommended)
- Layer height: 0.16 mm
- Walls: 5
- Infill: 100 % (Gyroid or Cubic recommended)
Note: For very rocky or extremely hard ground, metal tent pegs remain the better choice. For normal ground, meadows, the garden, or the beach, this model is excellently suited.
