Mazda Center Seat Silencer (False Occupancy Fix)

Mazda Rear Center Seat-Belt Warning Silencer

If you own a Mazda CX-5, you've probably experienced the rear center seat occasionally triggering a "Rear Passenger Unbuckled" warning when only the left and/or right rear seats are occupied.

This simple insert mimics the rear center seat belt tongue and temporarily silences the false warning when the center seat is unoccupied.

The design is:

• Quick to print (under 15 minutes on most printers)
• No supports required
• Strong enough for repeated use
• Designed specifically for the rear center seat on modern Mazda vehicles

It clicks securely into the buckle and removes easily by pressing the release button.

Print Settings

Recommended Material: PET-G

PETG provides better durability and heat resistance for automotive interiors.

PLA can be used if that's all you have available, but keep in mind that vehicles can become very hot in the summer, and PLA may soften or deform over time.

Suggested settings:

• 0.20 mm layer height
• 100% infill (recommended)
• No supports

Designed and tested on:

• Mazda CX-5 (2023) rear center seat

It may fit other modern Mazda rear center seat buckles, but has not been fully tested.
