Modular Spin‑Top Series — fastprint in 33 min, 9g per top

RotoRing is a compact modular spin‑top system featuring five distinct tops that all share the same smooth turning motion.

Each top offers its own tactile feel, surface pattern and visual effect — from soft bubble geometry to hypnotic rainbow swirls.

All tops print fully assembled, require no supports, and snap onto the shared RotoRing base. Despite the visual complexity, no AMS is needed — every top prints in a single material and locks into place with a reliable snap‑fit joint.

🔵 How RotoRing Works

Each top uses a low‑friction center hub that rotates cleanly inside the outer ring. The geometry of the top defines the motion feel:

bubble — soft, rounded, playful rotation
psy — swirl with hypnotic motion
groove — linear grooves for crisp tactile feedback
dots — bold dot pattern with rhythmic spin behavior
spike — micro‑spikes for grippy, energetic rotation

All tops fit the same base. Swap them freely. One motion — five personalities.

🔵 RotoRing Assembly (korrekt & präzise)

RotoRing uses a simple two‑step snap‑fit assembly:

Insert the snap‑pin from below through the opening in the ring base. The pin locks into position and becomes the central rotation axis.
Place the top from above onto the snap‑pin. A firm press engages the snap‑fit joint — the top clicks into place and rotates freely.

No AMS, no supports, no post‑processing. Just print the base, print the top, snap them together, done.
