Rory lives in the Mist Meadows, where he likes to lie on the warm stones when the sun rises.
He has a powerful roar, but he doesn't use it to scare, but rather to check how Zoora responds.
One morning he roared from a hill and heard something strange: the echo didn't return from the air, but from the ground.
He tried again in another place, and the same thing happened.
So he followed that echo to a stone clearing.
There he understood an important part of the mystery: the paths that Tambo and Fenn had discovered not only led to the same center… that center also responded, as if it were the heart of the ancient path.
Since then, Rory no longer roars to show how strong he is.
Now he roars to remember that even the most powerful serves best when it helps to guide others.
Moral: True strength is not in making more noise, but in knowing what you use it for.
