Flexi Mini Piranha

Bring a little underwater menace to your collection with this grumpy little articulated piranha! Despite its angry expression and oversized teeth, it's a fun, fully articulated print designed to be easy to print and enjoyable to fidget with.

As with all models in my Flexi Mini series, it prints in place with fully articulated joints and has been optimized for reliable printing while keeping as much detail as possible.

❤️ A Small Note

I'm constantly learning and improving my workflow with every new model I release.

While I always do my best to deliver the highest quality possible, you may occasionally notice a small imperfection or a detail that could be improved. Every release teaches me something new, and I continuously update my techniques to make each model better than the last.

That's why all showcase photos are always real prints, not renders. I believe it's important for you to see exactly what you can expect before downloading, of course sometimes filaments will produce better results, for example me sometimes i use matte filaments and dont deliver the best results for small details.

🎨 Included Print Profiles

This model includes several print profiles depending on how much detail you want.

🎨 Single Color

Perfect for rainbow, silk or specialty filaments, or for anyone who wants to paint the details themselves after printing.

🎨 Dual Color

Adds color only to the teeth and the eye background (iris) while keeping the rest of the model in the main body color.

A great balance between detail, print time and filament waste.

🎨 Three Colors

Expands the dual-color version by also coloring the chin and eyebrows, creating a much more expressive look while still keeping waste relatively low.

🎨 Belly Color Version

This profile is based on the Three Color version and simply extends the color change using layer height to create a differently colored belly (blue in my example).

If you prefer a more colorful look without increasing the number of filament swaps too much, this is probably my favorite version.

🛠️ Model Creation

🧠 This model was initially inspired by an AI-generated concept, with the base geometry processed through MakerWorld's Image-to-3D tool.

🛠️ The generated mesh was then imported into Nomad Sculpt, where it was extensively rebuilt and optimized. The model was quad-remeshed, cleaned, and manually refined to improve topology. Print orientation and geometry were adjusted for better printability, key elements were manually separated for multi-color printing, articulation gaps were refined, and numerous small adjustments were made to improve both durability and overall appearance.
