Description

I had fun with this design and spent way too much time on it. I wanted a smaller housing for my Mikrotik wAP AC for a homelab project. The Mikrotik wAP AC Cover (Vent holes with round corners) is my final design that I went with. Since I modeled this in tinkercad I decided to make variations since it is easy enough to do and people might want other options.

 

You can print the case as is vertically with no supports. The cover will need supports for the openings for the screw heads. You will need four M2 screws that are up to 10 mm long for the cover. Screw head size is 4 mm in diameter. I used some random screws I had out of a Thinkpad T42 of all things. The AP runs pretty hot so printing in PETG is a must. Parts can be mixed and matched as you see fit. Although mixing sharp and round corners would make for an interesting look. :P

 

I also modified this so people could print their own electronics project boxes using this design. I removed the features that were specific to this design and tried to make it more of a universal use:
