The ultimate 3D printed 18mm utility knife. Features a secure lock and built-in blade snapper!

 🌟 Key Features:

  • Smooth Sliding Mechanism: Easily extend and retract the blade with the thumb slider.
  • Adjustable Lock: Features a robust locking mechanism (knob) to securely clamp the blade in place. No more accidental blade retraction during heavy cutting!
  • Built-in Blade Snapper: The back end of the handle features a specially designed slot. Just insert the dull end of the blade and safely snap it off along the factory score line to get a fresh, sharp edge.
  • Ergonomic Textured Grip: Designed with a patterned surface and finger grooves for maximum control and slip resistance.

 🔩 Required Hardware:

  • 1x Standard 18mm snap-off utility blade.

 🖨 Printing Instructions:

  • No Supports Required: All parts are designed to print flat on the build plate without any messy supports.
  • Material: PETG, ABS, or Tough PLA are recommended for durability, especially for the locking mechanism and the blade snapping slot.
  • Infill: 20-30% (Grid or Honeycomb) to give the knife a solid, weighty feel and prevent the handle from flexing under pressure.
  • Walls/Perimeters: Use at least 3 wall loops for maximum strength around the blade channel and locking thread.

Print it in your favorite dual-color combination and never buy a cheap plastic box cutter again! Please share your makes and let me know how it cuts!
