PiDeck V2 - 7 Inch Cyberdeck with Raspberry Pi 5
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is PiDeck V2, the next evolution of my original 7-inch cyberdeck design! This upgraded version takes the core concept of the first PiDeck and refines it into a sleeker, more reliable, and feature-rich portable terminal - but this time without integrated PowerBank.
Disclaimer: This project is not for beginners. It was designed specifically around parts I already had on hand, so the tolerances and mounting points are very specific. You will likely need to tweak the design to fit your exact components. To make this easier, I have provided the CAD files (.step) so you can modify the housing to your needs.
Key Improvements & Features
- Power Supply (Geekworm PD Module): The Raspberry Pi 5 is notoriously picky about its power source. To eliminate the low voltage warnings and power delivery issues of the first version, V2 ditches the internal power bank. Instead, it features an integrated Geekworm PD module, allowing you to power the deck reliably from any standard USB-C Power Delivery wall adapter or high-output PD power bank.
- Integrated Camera : This version now supports a Raspberry Pi 1.3 camera module, seamlessly integrated into the chassis. An optional clean backplate without the camera hole is also included in the files.
- Quick-Access Magnetic Flap: The rear panel features a magnetic flap that lets you access the Raspberry Pi's internal I/O ports instantly.
- Optimized & Thinner Chassis: The entire design has been streamlined. It features a slightly thinner profile.
- Easier print Design: The geometry of the parts have been optimized to reduce the amount of support material needed.
- Full Assembly Guide Included: To guide you through the build, a comprehensive step-by-step PDF assembly guide is included with the project files.
