Mini Blue Tang

Hello!! Today I’m excited to share my new model: Mini Blue Tang!

I wanted to create a small, cute, and playful articulated fish inspired by the beautiful Blue Tang, a tropical reef fish full of color and personality. This mini version is easy to print, fun to display, and perfect for ocean animal lovers, aquarium fans, or anyone who enjoys small collectible 3D prints.

This version includes a multicolor print profile using blue, black, yellow, and white colors to bring out the classic Blue Tang look. The model keeps a compact articulated body while staying clean, cute, and easy to print.

Thank you so much for your support, and happy printing!!

Show me your Mini Blue Tang photos! I’d love to see how they turned out.

Specifications:

Model:

  • Mini articulated Blue Tang fish.
  • The model size included in the file is the recommended print size.
  • Easy to print.
  • No supports required.
  • Great as a collectible, desk toy, or ocean-themed decoration.

Printing profile:

  • PLA / 0.20 mm layer height
  • 10% infill / 3 walls
  • No supports required
  • Auto brim enabled
  • AMS multicolor profile
  • Colors: White, Blue, Black and Yellow

Advice:

  • For multicolor printing, I recommend printing several pieces or variations at once, as multicolor prints usually create more filament waste.
  • Make sure your print bed is clean to prevent adhesion issues.
  • If printing a tiny version, reduce speed for better detail and cleaner movement.
