A1 Beer Bottle Opener!
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello there!
Originally made as a birthday present for someone with a great love interest in A1 printers and beer, i present to you all:
THE
A1
BEER (or bottle)
OPENER
!!!!
Perfect for fanatics in the same boat and longing for a drink with the summer coming right up!
It has:
- Moving Z-Axis!
- Multiple “Quickswap” toolheads available for different bottles!
- A loud pop!!!
- TPU vibration damping feet! (V2 is the same model without these, for those who don't have or want TPU)
- Customizable mini display with text!!!
- Easy to assemble (mostly press-fit, and 4 regular M6 bolts >~30mm in length).
My original model of this entire thing (not showcased nor uploaded) was made with the “Extremely Loud Bottle Opener” made by DDDP attached with a few screws to the X-Axis rail. Please support his project:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/2565168-extremely-loud-bottle-opener#profileId-2841242
The original construction was modeled and printed within 1 day with big haste so it was a bit crooked and it didn't have a lot going for it,
so i took some time to make it better and make everything myself!
The current model still uses DDDP's concept (the way the bottle opens) as inspiration but all the parts are measured, modeled, printed, remeasured, remodeled, reprinted, on repeat, by myself.
You will need:
- PLA
- TPU (Not needed if you print the V2.3mf in the loose files section)
- 4x M6 bolt bigger or equal to 30mm in length.
As (semi)mentioned before the assembly is as follows:
- Print all the parts
- Press the dark grey bottom part around the base until it clicks.
- Press the 6 TPU feet in the bottom(if applicable)
- Press the Z-Axis rails in the dark grey bottom part till they click.
- Assemble the X-Axis rail by bolting the dark grey and white end parts to it. They have a Poka-Yoke thing going on to make sure they fit correctly.
- Press the X-Axis rail tabs down into the Z-Axis rails.
- Bolt on the top bar.
- Assemble the opener(s): Put the lever on the base pin, tighten the lever by installing the nut on the thread. Insert the quickswap pin.
- Press the opener into the X-Axis rail.
- Press the little screen on the base
- Voila, you have assembled your brand new A1 beer opener!!!
In the loose files i've attached:
- V2.3mf (doesn't use TPU)
- All SolidWorks parts in a folder for those interested
- All STEP files in a folder for those interested
If i have forgotten anything or if there are any problems, send me a message!
