Description

MDT Oryx Control Bridge

Add a clean, functional control bridge to your MDT Oryx chassis while maintaining access to the factory M-LOK slots.

Features

  • Maintains access to the M-LOK slots after installation.
  • Hex-pattern grip texture on the top surface for improved control and appearance.
  • Both solid and vented versions for the Raw STL files are included if you'd like to print using a material not currently available in the provided print profiles. Only the solid version is available in the print profiles for now.

Print Profiles

At launch, print profiles are available in PLA+ only, I plan to add a PETG profile as soon as I have time to validate it.

Please note: PLA+ may soften or deform if exposed to elevated temperatures (such as being left inside a hot vehicle). If your rifle will regularly see high temperatures, I recommend printing the included STL files in a more heat-resistant material.

Hardware Required

This part requires longer hardware than the factory screws.

You'll need:

  • (4) #8-32 × 1/2" button head screws

I purchased mine from Amazon, but they are widely available from most hardware suppliers.

Installation

The bridge is designed to slide over the sides of the chassis and latch into the factory holes in the Oryx side panels.

Take your time during installation. The mounting ears are designed to flex slightly, but excessive force can cause them to break. Gently work each side into place rather than forcing it.

You'll also notice the print is angled in the supplied print profile. This orientation was chosen intentionally to improve layer strength and help the mounting ears better resist breaking during installation.

If you choose to slice the STL yourself, consider maintaining a similar print orientation for the best durability.
