Description

A peaceful stretching cat sculpture from my Carved Series. 🐈

Designed with broad carved planes and soft sculpted texture, this cat has a lovely handmade wooden-carving feel while still being easy to print as a single solid display piece.

It looks great on a shelf, desk, bedside table or windowsill, and works especially well in wood-effect, tan, cream or matte neutral filaments.

Three sizes are included:

  • 100mm long
  • 150mm long
  • 200mm long

The model is also fully scalable, so you can make it larger or smaller to suit your space.

Part of the Carved Series.

Magnetic Option
Want to use your Carved Stretching Cat as a fridge magnet or magnetic display piece?

A strip of self-adhesive magnetic tape can be added to the flat back after printing. Cut the tape to fit, peel the backing off, and press firmly into place.

For the strongest hold, use a good-quality magnetic tape and make sure the back of the print is clean and dry before applying it. Larger sizes may need more than one strip of tape.

Print Settings

  • Print flat on the base, as supplied
  • No supports required
  • 0.20mm layer height (Variable Layer Height Set)
  • If scaling please re-apply Variable Layer Height for best finish.
  • 1 walls
  • 8% Gyroid infill
  • Matte, wood-effect, tan, cream or light brown filament works especially well

Leave a comment or photo of your cat 🐈
I’m looking for ideas and references for future poses in the Carved Cat Series.

If your cat has a great sitting, sleeping, stretching, loaf, or weird little goblin pose, post a photo 😄

Please also share photos of your prints below.
I’d love to see the different filament and colour choices people use.
