Description
Engraver bit carousel I made for my friend for his shop. This is our latest model and offers a few different options for benchtop stability. These features include 50% enfil for increased weight, (8) 8x3mm sockets for magnets or rubber inserts and 4 Chamfered .1875 holes for screws if you dont want it to move at all! Doesn't have to be a counter sunk screw given the clearance the bearings provide, any screw would probably do just dont use an oversized one as it will squeeze the surrounding bearings and stop them from spinning.
Im gonna make one for myself with different hole configurations and ill be sure to upload it as a profile option.
If you dont want it to come apart for swap-outs, apply glue to the dovetail fixings and the 6000 bearing if you'd like too.
I wanna note that the 6000 bearing is more of a centering mechanism so it does not need to be a nice one. If you'd like it to spin less freely, print any 6000 bearing (I did PLA for this part alone) and it will offer a little slower spin.
Materials Needed:
8 – 625zz Bearings
1 – 6000 Bearing (I 3D printed mine)
Optional:
8 – 8x3mm Round Magnets
