Description
1. Integrated Linkage Hinge Structure
The entire piece is integrally 3D printed as a single unit, with the left and right hanging arms connected to the hook base using embedded thin hinges, eliminating the need for additional shafts or buckle accessories. Hollow deformation slots are reserved at the base of the hanging arms, allowing for reciprocal opening and closing relying on the filament's inherent flexibility. The joint surfaces feature a rounded transition, resulting in uniform gaps when closed, and smooth, snag-free opening and closing.
2. Hanging Arm Locking Slots
Positioning grooves are built into the inner sides of both hanging arms, which interlock with the base protrusions when fully extended, maintaining a straight and stable position when spread open and preventing inward collapse under load. The ends of the hanging arms are rounded and thickened to prevent clothes from snagging on sharp corners.
3. Thickened Load-Bearing Hook
The top hook is integrally thickened and molded, with a gap reserved at the hook mouth for threading, making it compatible with steel clotheslines and indoor hanging rods. The curved hook body disperses tension, making it less prone to slipping off during outdoor drying.
Portable Storage Features
1. Fold-Flat Storage
Both hanging arms can be folded inward simultaneously, resulting in a narrow, flat profile when fully folded, with a thickness of only 1/3 of its unfolded state. There are no protruding loose parts, saving space during storage.
2. Lightweight Portable Design
The entire unit is one-piece with no spliced parts and is lightweight, easily tucked into a backpack, luggage, or pocket when folded, making it suitable for business trips, camping, and short-term travel.
3. Stackable Storage Compatibility
The shape is neat and orderly when folded, allowing multiple units to be neatly stacked for storage. This makes it convenient for bulk carrying both for home storage and travel packing, addressing the pain points of traditional hangers being bulky and inconvenient to carry.
Printing Compatibility Notes
Recommended to print with PLA/PETG filament. No additional supports are needed for the hinge area, and it can be formed by printing flat. The layer lines of the thin hinges ensure bending toughness, making them resistant to breaking even with long-term repeated opening and closing
