Welcome to Version 2 of the Rugged Backpack Strap Clamp. My redesigned version takes everything you loved about the original and makes it much more simple to print. No heat-set inserts, no screws, and no multi-material (AMS) printing required. The revised clamping mechanism sandwiches your backpack webbing securely, ensuring a permanent hold that won’t slide around under pressure. I've included two versions, one is for a tighter fit and one is for a looser fit. It can be scaled for whatever your webbing widths are. No supports are required, though the finish may be nicer with them.
I do recommend PETG or ABS, but PLA should work fine too. Its just more brittle and can cause the snap to break with repeated opening and closing.
