Description

⛰️ Hill Giant Brawler (Overhead Smash Stance) - 50mm Base Miniature

"Feared for their raw, untamed strength and volatile tempers, Hill Giants crush everything in their path. When the club goes up, the battle is already over."

Bring a towering engine of primitive, brutal destruction to your tabletop campaigns. This elite Hill Giant Brawler is captured in a highly dynamic, aggressive combat stance—rearing back and swinging a colossal spiked stone club overhead with both hands, ready to shatter armor and ground alike. Featuring an intensely detailed, roaring open-mouth expression, hyper-defined muscular anatomy with prominent vein details on the forearms, and an integrated circular display base filled with cracked rocky terrain, this model is the definitive boss encounter for any fantasy campaign.

Optimized to stand as a Large / Huge monster, this figure perfectly dwarfs standard 28mm/32mm humanoids, dominating the battlefield grid with its sheer mass and imposing silhouette.

📐 Print Specs & Proportional Scaling

  • Base Diameter: 50mm circular integrated display base (Perfect for standard 2x2 grid combat maps).
  • Total Height: ~90mm (Expertly configured to tower over 62mm hero miniatures, providing a realistic, terrifying giant-to-human size ratio).
  • Geometry Advantage: The heavy musculature, leather straps, and raw stone textures are tailor-made for FDM printing, easily absorbing layer transitions for an organic, rugged finish.

🛠️ Support Removal & Overhang Guardrails

🧹 CLEANUP STRATEGY: Because the heavy spiked club is raised completely above the head, tree supports will climb up from the shoulders and base to cradle the upper limbs. Luckily, the thick arms and wide torso provide excellent anchoring points.

  • 💪 The Raised Arms & Armpits: The cavities directly under the armpits and behind the neck will contain dense support clusters. Use a pair of long-nosed pliers to twist the support trunks gently inward toward the chest cavity rather than pulling them outward, protecting the skin textures and leather strap details on the torso.
  • 🪓 The Overhead Spiked Club: The spikes on the club are thick and blunt, which helps during printing, but the hilt where his hands grip the weapon is a high-stress point. Before ripping away the main support pillar holding the club, use your flush cutters to snip the tiny branches supporting his wrists and the lowest spikes to avoid transferring rotational leverage down to his feet.

Technical & Creative Note: This design is based on an AI generation that I have manually refined and tested on FDM prints to ensure printability and quality. The featured photo is of the actual physical print. I’ve included AI-colored renders only as a visual reference for those who wish to paint the miniature.

🛠️ Support the Process!

💡 What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.

I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.

If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84
