Timber lives by the ancient canals of Zoora, where he loves to arrange branches and logs to observe how the water's flow changes He says that wood also has memory, especially when it has traveled a great deal One morning he found several small branches that he had separated the day before, but now they were all pointing in the same direction Timber released them into the water one by one and saw that they all followed the same curve, as if they knew the way Among them was a small piece of dark wood, very similar to that of Cangüi's boxes Then Timber understood part of the mystery: the boxes did not arrive at the Cold Docks by chance They were made from wood that seemed to remember the water's route through Zoora Since then, Timber observes the currents more attentively, because he knows that sometimes they don't just carry things… they also guide them to where they need to go
