Upgrade your home lighting with this highly elegant, parametric lamp canopy featuring a modern, twisted square flute design. It transitions from deep vertical ridges on the side into a clean, flat relief on the top – **perfect for multi-color slicing and painting!**

This model is fully parametric and designed to look premium while printing flawlessly without any supports.

 

🎛️ Fully Customizable Parameters & Sizes
You can completely customize this model in OpenSCAD to fit your exact needs. The following features are selectable:

  • With Thread (Mit Gewinde): Enable a highly stable, true 3D-triangular internal thread for standard cable glands. You can choose from a dropdown list:
  • Metric Threads: M12, M16, M20, M25, M32
     
  • PG-Threads (DIN 40430): PG7, PG9, PG11, PG13.5, PG16, PG21
     
  • Without Thread (Ohne Gewinde): Just toggle the thread option off to get a clean, completely smooth plain hole (adjustable diameter) for basic cable routing without any hardware.
     
  • Ultra-Precise Tolerances: Fine-tune your thread clearance using two separate sliders for tenths and hundredths of a millimeter to get a perfect fit depending on your printer's calibration.
     
  • Dimensions & Style: Freely adjust the outer diameter, top diameter, height, wall thickness, and the number or depth of the spiral flutes.

🖨️ Printing Instructions & Tips

For the best strength and appearance (especially for the internal threads), please use the following settings:
-Wall Lines: Set to at least 3 or 4 walls to make the thread strong enough to handle screwing in the cable gland without stripping.
-Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid recommended).
-Material: Looks stunning in Matte PLA, Silk PLA, or PETG.
