THE MODEL :
Embody the fierce pride and lavish pageantry of elite Venetian carnivals with this exquisite Baroque-inspired rooster masquerade mask. This unique three-dimensional design masterfully reimagines avian anatomy by blending organic bird features with Renaissance opulence: the sharp down-turned beak anchors a commanding profile, while the heavy upper comb and lower wattles transfigure into a dense, cascading lattice of high-relief Rococo scrollwork and symmetrical flourishes. Enveloped entirely in chiseled theatrical patterns that frame the eyes beautifully, this statement prop delivers unmatched visual drama. It is the ultimate accessory for high-fantasy cosplay, historical masked balls, or to display proudly upon a vanity stand as a captivating dark art sculpture.
Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The clean lines of the central beak and the intricate details of the sweeping ornamental crown were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as featured in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_o6k4s0o6k4s0o6k4.png.
- Infill: Set at 5% for a stationary display setup. Slicing Pro-Tip for Wearability: If you plan to run ribbons or elastic bands through the side slots for active wear, we highly advise boosting the infill rate to 15% and running 4 wall loops (perimeters) to heavily reinforce the frame edges against strap tension.
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Supports: Well-placed tree supports are highly required beneath the overhanging pointed beak, under the heavy crest arches, and along the inner rims of the hollow eye contours for a clean surface finish.
Sizing Information: The model is scaled to standard adult facial dimensions. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use inside your slicing software to achieve a custom-tailored fit for your face width or to downscale it into a sophisticated cabinet of curiosities display relic.
INFORMATION:
A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?
For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.
Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
