Design
Robust DIN rail design to mount all types of electrical components that have a DIN rail mount.
The profile is extra reinforced so that even heavier components find a secure and reliable hold.
Why another DIN rail model?
Who doesn't know it? You buy goods by the meter at the hardware store, then saw them to size and, of course, have to deburr them cleanly. In the end, there's almost always a leftover piece that's no longer really usable and ends up in the trash. In addition, the slots for screws on many commercially available DIN rails are usually 5–6 mm wide, which is often far too large for smaller distribution boxes.
Therefore, I designed this model to be able to make a DIN rail precisely to measure with the appropriate mounting holes. This allows the rail to be flexibly adapted to the respective project, and significantly less waste is generated.
Dimensions
Please adjust the required length yourself under "Customize".
One module is 30 mm long. So you need to divide your desired measurement by 30 and then enter the corresponding number under Count.
If the measurement cannot be cleanly divided by 30, simply select one more part and then cut the rail to the correct length in the slicer using the Cut Function.
The slots for the screws can be flexibly adjusted from 1–8 mm.
Supports:
No supports are necessary.
Printing
I use PETG CF or PETG-HF from BambuLab – works great.
PLA or PETG from other manufacturers should also work without problems.
