Rizoma Sport throttle CAM

MT-07 Quick Throttle Cam – 40mm (R6 equivalent)

This is a 3D printable quick throttle cam designed for the Yamaha MT-07 (2019), compatible with the Rizoma Sport grips.

The cam diameter is 40mm, equivalent to the OEM Yamaha R6 throttle tube cam, reducing throttle travel from the stock ~90° down to ~60° for a more responsive throttle feel.

I modeled it from scratch based on measurements taken from the original cam and printed it in Polycarbonate (PC). Compatibility with other Rizoma grip models is unknown — use at your own risk.

Installation notes:

• This cam replaces the rizoma throttle tube cam inside the throttle housing
• If the throttle cable does not return properly after installation, you will need to add slack to both cable adjusters: the one located at the handlebar housing and the one located near the throttle body (at the engine side). Loosen both adjusters until the throttle returns freely and snaps back without sticking.
• Always check that the throttle returns to fully closed position before riding
