15 yuan Lume Cube Fill Light Casing

The LUME CUBE fill light sold on Xianyu, a complete mainboard for 15 yuan, includes battery, mainboard, and light board, ready to use upon receipt, offering an extremely high cost-performance ratio. (Now increased to 20 yuan)

This fill light was launched in 2019 and was sold for a full 149.95 US dollars in the US that year, nearly a thousand yuan.

I re-modeled the casing using CATIA. The final product has a thickness of only 9.4mm, about the same thickness as a mobile phone, and is slightly smaller in size than a 6.7-inch phone (Xiaomi 10 Pro is shown in the picture).

Please note that my design principle is to compress the volume to the extreme as much as possible; therefore, both the front and back panels and the frame use a thickness of 1.2mm. I used PETG, and the strength is sufficient. You can also use PETG CF for better strength. The buckle design is quite tight; do not use too much force during installation to avoid breaking it.

The model includes a rectangular diffuser with reference dimensions. It is recommended to purchase 0.5mm thick sheet material and cut it yourself.

The specific model of the fill light is Lume Cube Bi-Color LED Light and Power Bank, model LC-PANEL1, so it can also be called Panel generation one. The configuration of this light panel is quite comprehensive, as follows:

① Power 10W, total of 180 LED beads, bi-color combination, 3200K-5600K free adjustment (100K per step)

② Achieves 1600 LUX at 0.5 meters at maximum brightness, CRI 96+, approximately 90 minutes of battery life at maximum brightness

③ Battery 3.85V 4040mAh, with 3 ports at the bottom, MicroUSB and Type-C for charging, MicroB can output 10W to other devices

④ Can be used as a power bank; MicroB plus an adapter cable can be used as a power bank, with 10W output

⑤ Launched in August 2019, now discontinued

My personal evaluation is that it's a great deal; I highly recommend buying one to try out. Anything under 30 yuan is super value. Note during installation that the three side switches are relatively fragile and prone to breaking (I broke 2 myself QAQ).
