A compact 3D printable well seal vent tube designed for a standard 1/2" NPT threaded well seal vent opening.

Based on the Boshart WS-V05 Well Seal PVC Air Vent

This model is inspired by the common WS-V05 style well vent tube, but shortened to approximately 3 inches tall for tighter spaces where the full-height vent is not ideal. It uses a 1/2" NPT-style tapered thread and includes side vent slots to allow airflow while helping reduce the chance of debris or small pests entering the vent path.

I printed mine in PA6-CF for improved toughness, heat resistance, and durability compared to basic PLA or PETG. Since this part may be used near outdoor, wet, or utility environments, I recommend using a strong engineering material such as PA6-CF, PA6-GF, ASA, ABS, or another suitable filament.

For best results, dry nylon-based filament before printing. Depending on your printer, filament shrinkage, and material choice, the 1/2" NPT thread may need slight scaling or cleanup for the perfect fit.

Important Note

This is a DIY 3D printed utility part, not a certified plumbing, potable-water, or well-code approved replacement. Use your own judgment, check your local requirements, and do not install it where a certified part is required.
