Overview
This is a 3D-printable educational toy designed in alignment with Montessori principles. It focuses on hands-on, self-directed learning to help young children naturally develop fine motor skills, shape recognition, and foundational counting abilities. The set features a modular base plate with vertical pegs and matching geometric sorting tiles.
What Makes This a Montessori Toy?
Montessori is an educational method developed by Dr. Maria Montessori that emphasizes child-led learning, independence, and real-world physical exploration. This design embodies that approach through:
- Isolation of Difficulty: The toy isolates a single concept (matching shapes to corresponding peg groups) so the child can focus and learn without distraction.
