Description
Are you looking for a simple and perfectly fitting enclosure for your LCD1602 display? This enclosure was specifically designed to reliably protect your display while using as little filament as possible
The enclosure consists of two parts:
- Base
- Lid
The display is simply placed into the base and then closed with the perfectly fitting lid. Thanks to optimized tolerances, the lid stays securely in place – even if the enclosure is rotated or turned upside down. At the same time, the display can be easily removed again at any time
The front leaves the entire display visible, ensuring the display remains easily readable at all times. Additionally, there is a cutout above the connectors, so the pin labels remain visible. On the back, further openings ensure that all connections remain easily accessible
The enclosure was developed for LCD1602 displays. Other displays with the same external dimensions usually fit as well
The following goals were prioritized during design:
- precise fit
- secure fixation without screws
- low filament consumption
- fast printing
- printable completely without support material
- easy assembly
As with my other models, this enclosure was also entirely self-developed and optimized over approximately 10 prototypes until the fit and print result were convincing
