Lazy Z Spa Bottom Vacuum

No more dirt on the pool bottom! 

Anyone who owns a Bestway Lay-Z-Spa knows the problem: sand, small leaves, and dirt inevitably collect at the bottom, and the integrated pump cannot specifically remove them.

This functional module solves the problem elegantly and simply. It transforms your pool's standard intake nozzle into an effective bottom vacuum.

Application:

1. Insert a filter ball into the module (I use those from Steinbach).
2. Connect the garden hose to the 1-inch connection.
3. Turn on the pool pump (filter function).
4. Attach the module to the intake nozzle (the vacuum will fix it immediately).
5. Vacuum the pool bottom with the hose.

The Story Behind the Design – From "Fail" to Feature!

The original plan was quite different: I initially wanted to equip the adapter with a suitable thread to screw it firmly onto the nozzle. However, since it was extremely difficult to find the exact specifications of the pool thread (and I was probably a bit too silly when measuring...), the printed thread didn't fit at all.

A brief annoyance, a moment of reflection – and I realized: It’s not a bug, it’s a feature! The tedious screwing and unscrewing in the water with each cleaning cycle would have been far too cumbersome. The new, threadless version is now simply pushed over the inlet. The pump's vacuum sucks the module firmly into place and it can be removed again in seconds after cleaning. It doesn't get any faster or easier!

• Ingenious Plug & Play: With the pump running, the module is simply placed onto the intake nozzle in the pool. The pump's vacuum sucks the part firmly into place and holds it securely – without screws or clamps.
• Integrated Dirt Trap: Inside the adapter, there is exact space for a standard filter ball (e.g., from Steinbach). This catches the sucked-up dirt directly before it can even reach the pump or the main filter. The filter ball can then be easily washed out.
• Universal Connection: The module has a 1-inch connection. A standard garden hose (e.g., with a Gardena coupling) can be attached here. With the free end of the hose, you can now easily vacuum the entire pool bottom.
