Description
Flexible Exhaust Nozzle for Roof Windows with 45° Outlet
I was looking for a **flexible exhaust nozzle**. My main goal this time was a solution that could be used **on an open roof window** and would direct the warm exhaust air outside as precisely as possible
I came across the excellent model by **90Down**. Thank you very much for the great work and for sharing your model with the community! 🙏

✨ My Changes
I deliberately made only a few adjustments to maintain the original flexibility
✅ Exhaust opening extended
✅ Outlet angled by **45°**
This directs the exhaust air away from the window and allows it to flow outside as unimpeded as possible
🔧 Compatibility
This model is designed for a **flexible exhaust hose with a diameter of 100 mm**
For a secure fit, the hose should be fastened **with a metal clamp or alternatively a zip tie**. For this purpose, a **circumferential groove** was integrated into the connection, which prevents the clamp or zip tie from slipping off the connection
🖨️ Print Profiles
The model includes **two print profiles**:
- **Long Version** – suitable exclusively for the **Bambu Lab H2 series** and **A2 series**
- **Short Version** – for **all other Bambu Lab printers**, with the exception of the **A1 mini**
This allows the appropriate profile to be selected depending on the printer
🌬️ Airflow
The design ensured that the **free cross-section remains as large as possible**. This prevents air or heat accumulation in the pipe, which reduces the risk of overheating the connected device
🖨️ Filament Recommendation
⚠️ **PLA** is only suitable for **cold exhaust air**
For **warm exhaust air**, for example from air conditioning units, a filament with higher heat resistance should always be used
🚦 Temperature Resistance (Guide Values)
🔴 **PLA:** up to approx **55–60 °C** – **only suitable for cold exhaust air**
🟡 **PETG:** up to approx **70–80 °C** – **well suited for many warm exhaust air applications**
🟢 **ASA:** up to approx **95–105 °C** – **recommended for higher temperatures**
I myself have printed the adapter from **PETG** and have had very good experiences with it so far. 👍
⚠️ Important Note
Please ensure that there is **no heat buildup or overheating in either the exhaust pipe or the connected device**. Likewise, the area where the exhaust air is directed outside should provide sufficient space for the warm air to escape unhindered
Since **roof windows** differ depending on the manufacturer, opening angle, and installation situation, please check before use whether the adapter is suitable for your application and fits securely
Always use a suitably temperature-resistant filament for warm exhaust air
The use of this model is **at your own risk**. I assume no liability for damages resulting from the use of the model or improper use
💙 **I hope the adapter also helps others find a simple and flexible solution for roof windows. If you like the model or find it helpful, I would appreciate a ❤️ Like, a 🚀 Boost, or a 📸 Make!**
