Growatt Nexa Cooler

 

This precisely fitting Dual Fan Adapter was specially developed for the Growatt Nexa storage unit.

Background: Under high load (e.g., during maximum PV charging in summer or heavy discharge), my storage unit reached temperatures of up to 55 °C. To protect the sensitive internal components and cells and to significantly extend the lifespan of the storage unit, an active cooling solution was needed. Since I searched in vain on all known platforms (like Thingiverse, Printables, or MakerWorld) and couldn't find a single suitable adapter for the Nexa storage unit, I developed this solution myself.

 

The Special Feature: The adapter requires no modifications or screws on the storage unit itself. It is simply precisely placed from above onto the original aluminum cooling fins of the Growatt Nexa – no tools, no gluing, and absolutely non-destructive!

  • Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS are strongly recommended. Please do not use standard PLA, as it could soften and deform due to the heat generated by the storage unit.
